CRGAR invites real estate professionals and business supporters to affiliate with us as members. As a member you will become part of Costa Rica’s real estate team with the strongest focus on global business and professional standards. The process is simple:

1) Request a membership application to be either a) a CRGAR-Certified Realtor in Costa Rica, b) a CRGAR Referral Realtor in another country, or c) a CRGAR Business Supporter anywhere in the world.

2) Complete the application with your professional information, your commitment to uphold the professional standards and practices of CRGAR, your confirmation of your legal status to work in Costa Rica (only for CRGAR-Certified Realtor candidates with Permanent residency or Costa Rican Citizenship), and return it to CRGAR with a copy of your photo ID.

3) Allow 2-3 weeks for internal processing and consideration, before we reply with your acceptance, or requests for clarification.

4) Once approved for membership, CRGAR will require payment of membership fees, based on the official rates of the current calendar year.

I understand, that as a Referral REALTOR Member of CRGAR, I am not allowed to post my own listings in Costa Rica to the Costa Rica MLS. I will only be allowed to do so after obtaining legal working status in Costa Rica, and joining CRGAR as a full REALTOR Member with my own account on the Costa Rica MLS.

18.

I agree to abide by these CRGAR Conditions of Membership and any future amendments approved from time to time by the CRGAR Board of Directors or by a General Assembly.

19.

I agree to pay annual membership dues and understand that the renewal period for any new membership year begins on December 1 of the current year and has a final deadline for payments of the following February 15th. I understand that my access to www.crgar.com and the Costa Rica MLS, may be suspended if I do not pay my renewal dues by the final deadline.

20.

I agree to abide by the CRGAR constitution, bylaws, policies and rules established by the CRGAR Board or Members, and as they may be amended from time to time.

21.

I agree to abide by Costa Rican Law. I agree that any evidence of my past criminal behavior in any country will be grounds for rejecting this application for membership.

22.

I agree to abide by the available CRGAR Code of Ethics and related policies established by its members or Board. I also agree to arbitrate real estate business disputes (between members) in accordance with the dispute resolution guidelines that are established by CRGAR. I agree that CRGAR, in receiving information about me involving any complaints in any regard, shall be conclusively deemed to be privileged to receive such information, and doing so will not form the basis of any action by me for slander, libel, or defamation of character.

23.

I agree to allow CRGAR to circulate the news of my pending application to all of its members, and those of other real estate professional organizations in Costa Rica, for comment. I agree that my application process will include a comment period of not less than 10 calendar days, starting with the date the Secretary notifies CRGAR members of my intent to join. I further acknowledge that my comment period may be extended by CRGAR Board Secretary on or before the end of the 10 day comment period to investigate any element of the feedback received during the comment period. Any extension shall be limited to a maximum of 30 days. I understand that once the comment period for my application has been closed by the CRGAR Board Secretary, my application will not be considered for approval by the CRGAR Board until their next regular meeting date.

24.

I understand that should my membership application be rejected by the CRGAR Board, I will be notified of the reasons within 3 calendar days of that decision, and that the date of the rejection of my application by CRGAR begins a 15 natural day period during which I may file a written appeal to the CRGAR Board Secretary for reconsideration of my application, which may include explanations and additional information to respond to the reasons for rejection. I agree to have my written appeal considered by a 3 person sub-committee of CRGAR members, and that I will receive their final decision within 60 days of the date of my initial rejection. I understand there is no appeal process after a second rejection of my application, and that I may not reapply for CRGAR membership for 1 year from the date that I am notified my application has been rejected by the Board.

25.

I understand that no payments for membership fees will be accepted prior to the approval of my application.

26.

(skip this statement, not applicable) I agree to take required CRGAR Licensed REALTOR® training courses no later than the second time they are offered by CRGAR after the approval of my application for membership. The courses may be offered by CRGAR anywhere in Costa Rica, or by alternate training programs approved by the CRGAR Board. Failure to meet this membership requirement can result in the suspension of my CRGAR membership and access to all websites and services.

27.

I agree that my use of CRGAR and Costa Rica MLS logos and images are a privilege I enjoy as a member of CRGAR and will be limited by my category of membership. If my CRGAR membership is discontinued for any reason, including but not limited to my resignation, non-payment of dues, or expulsion, I agree to immediately discontinue using the above logos and images in any materials related to my business activity in Costa Rica. I further agree that my failure to comply with this Condition of Membership or to provide evidence of separate authorization to use these logos, as confirmed by the CRGAR Board, will constitute my consent to allow CRGAR to take any measures CRGAR deems necessary to terminate my use of the CRGAR, NAR, and ICREA logos.

I agree that I am not a member of CRGAR until I receive a Notice of Membership Approval from the CRGAR Board Secretary, and I have paid my membership dues. I understand that my CRGAR membership dues, once paid, are not refundable if my membership is terminated for any reason.

3) CRGAR Sponsor Use to Contact Members. 4) Online Listing Platform Use for Promoting Real Estate Opportunities. 5) Social Media Channels to Show Affiliation: This may allow clients to verify THE REALTOR´s affiliation to CRGAR. 6) To Report News and Activity involving CRGAR members including open, ongoing and concluded disciplinary processes based on adherence to professional standards accepted on Joining CRGAR. This means that in case THE REALTOR is involved in any CRGAR disciplinary process, this written consent allows that his/her name, ID number and a brief description of the disciplinary case will be published in CRGAR website. 7) For inclusion of member to note additional affiliations based on agreements between CRGAR and other peer organizations. 8) In Response to member registration requirements for events, award programs, training opportunities, and professional designations.
III. INDISPENSABLE DATA: Personal information will be obtained through the subscription of printed and / or digital forms, at the discretion of the THE RESPONSIBLE, some information will be mandatory and other optional, as detailed in due course. Acepto cumplir con estas Condiciones de Membresía CRGAR y cualquier enmienda futura aprobada de vez en cuando por la Junta Directiva de CRGAR o por una Asamblea General.

Estoy de acuerdo en pagar cuotas anuales de membresía y entiendo que el período de renovación para cualquier nuevo año de membresía comienza el 1 de diciembre del año en curso y tiene un plazo final para los pagos del 15 de febrero siguiente. Entiendo que mi acceso a www.crgar.com y la MLS de Costa Rica puede ser suspendido si no pago mis cuotas de renovación en el plazo final.

Acepto cumplir con la constitución, los estatutos, las políticas y las reglas establecidas por la Junta o los Miembros de CRGAR, y como pueden ser enmendados de vez en cuando.

Acepto cumplir con la Ley de Costa Rica. Estoy de acuerdo en que cualquier evidencia de mi pasado comportamiento criminal en cualquier país será motivo para rechazar esta solicitud de membresía.

Acepto cumplir con el Código de Ética CRGAR disponible y las políticas relacionadas establecidas por sus miembros o Junta. También acepto arbitrar disputas de negocios de bienes raíces (entre miembros) de acuerdo con las directrices de resolución de disputas que CRGAR establece. Estoy de acuerdo en que CRGAR, al recibir información sobre mí que involucre cualquier queja en cualquier aspecto, se considerará concluyentemente privilegiada para recibir tal información, y hacerlo no será la base de ninguna acción por mí por calumnia, difamación o difamación de carácter.

Estoy de acuerdo en permitir que CRGAR haga circular la noticia de mi solicitud pendiente a todos sus miembros, y los de otras organizaciones profesionales de bienes raíces en Costa Rica, para comentarios. Estoy de acuerdo en que mi proceso de solicitud incluirá un período de comentarios de no menos de 10 días calendario, comenzando con la fecha en que el Secretario notifique a los miembros de CRGAR mi intención de unirse. También reconozco que mi período de comentarios puede ser extendido por el Secretario de la Junta de CRGAR en o antes del final del período de comentarios de 10 días para investigar cualquier elemento de la retroalimentación recibida durante el período de comentarios. Cualquier extensión se limitará a un máximo de 30 días. Entiendo que una vez que el período de comentarios para mi solicitud ha sido cerrado por el Secretario de la Junta CRGAR, mi solicitud no será considerada para su aprobación por la Junta CRGAR hasta la fecha de su próxima reunión regular.

Entiendo que si mi solicitud de membresía es rechazada por la Junta de CRGAR, se me notificarán los motivos dentro de los 3 días naturales de esa decisión y que la fecha de rechazo de mi solicitud por CRGAR comienza un período de 15 días naturales durante el cual Puede presentar una apelación por escrito al Secretario de la Junta CRGAR para la reconsideración de mi solicitud, que puede incluir explicaciones e información adicional para responder a las razones del rechazo. Estoy de acuerdo en que mi apelación por escrito sea considerada por un subcomité de 3 miembros de CRGAR y que yo reciba su decisión final dentro de los 60 días de la fecha de mi rechazo inicial. Entiendo que no hay un proceso de apelación después de un segundo rechazo de mi solicitud y que no puedo volver a solicitar la membresía de CRGAR durante un año a partir de la fecha en que me notifique que mi solicitud ha sido rechazada por la Junta.

Entiendo que no se aceptarán pagos por cuotas de membresía antes de la aprobación de mi solicitud.

(Omita esta declaración, no es aplicable) Estoy de acuerdo en tomar los cursos requeridos de CRGAR Licensed REALTOR® no más tarde de la segunda vez que sean ofrecidos por CRGAR después de la aprobación de mi solicitud de membresía. Los cursos pueden ser ofrecidos por CRGAR en cualquier lugar de Costa Rica, o por programas alternativos de capacitación aprobados por la Junta de CRGAR. El incumplimiento de este requisito de afiliación puede resultar en la suspensión de mi membresía CRGAR y el acceso a todos los sitios web y servicios.

Estoy de acuerdo en que mi uso de los logotipos e imágenes de CRGAR y Costa Rica MLS es un privilegio que disfruto como miembro de CRGAR y estará limitado por mi categoría de membresía. Si mi membresía de CRGAR es descontinuada por cualquier motivo, incluyendo, pero no limitado a mi renuncia, no pago de cuotas o expulsión, estoy de acuerdo en descontinuar de inmediato el uso de los logotipos e imágenes arriba mencionados en cualquier material relacionado con mi actividad comercial en Costa Rica. También estoy de acuerdo en que mi incumplimiento de esta Condición de Membresía o para proporcionar evidencia de autorización separada para usar estos logotipos, como lo confirma la Junta de CRGAR, constituirá mi consentimiento para permitir que CRGAR tome todas las medidas que CRGAR considere necesarias para terminar mi uso De los logos CRGAR, NAR e CILA.

28.

Acepto que no soy miembro de CRGAR hasta que reciba un aviso de aprobación de membresía del Secretario de la Junta de CRGAR, y una vez haya pagado mis cuotas de membresía. Entiendo que mis cuotas de membresía de CRGAR, una vez pagadas, no son reembolsables si mi membresía es cancelada por cualquier motivo.

II. USO DE LOS DATOS SOLICITADOS: La RESPONSABLE podrá usar los datos personales públicos y privados suministrados por usted, para lo siguiente:
1) Directorio de miembros en línea: mostrará sus datos personales que pueden permitir que futuros clientes se comuniquen con los agentes inmobiliarios de CRGAR inlcuyendo a su persona.
2) Uso en el Sistema de Contacto por Correo Electrónico / Plantilla: así como para contactar por cualquiera de las razones requeridas por CRGAR para contactarlo.
3) Uso del patrocinador de CRGAR para contactar a los miembros.
4) Uso de la Plataforma de Listados En Línea para promover oportunidades inmobiliarias.
5) Canales de redes sociales para mostrar afiliación: esto puede mostrar a los clientes verificar su afiliación a CRGAR
6) Informar noticias y actividades que involucren a miembros de CRGAR, incluidos procesos disciplinarios abiertos, continuos y concluidos basados en el cumplimiento de los estándares profesionales aceptados al unirse a CRGAR. Esto significa que en caso de que EL INMOBILIARIO esté involucrado en algún proceso disciplinario de CRGAR, permite mediante este formulario que su nombre, número de cédula y una breve descripción del caso disciplinario serán publicados en el sitio web de CRGAR.
7) Para la inclusión de miembros para anotar afiliaciones adicionales basadas en acuerdos entre CRGAR y otras organizaciones pares.
8) En respuesta a los requisitos de registro de miembros para eventos, programas de premios, oportunidades de capacitación y designaciones profesionales.
III. DATOS INDISPENSABLES: Se obtendrá información personal a través de la suscripción de formularios impresos y/o digitales, a criterio del responsable, alguna información será de carácter obligatoria y otra opcional, según se detalle oportunamente. En caso de no brindar la información de carácter obligatoria, EL RESPONSABLE no podrá iniciar y/o continuar con la tramitación del procedimiento de inscripción como asociado de la CRGAR
IV. TRANSMISIÓN DE DATOS A TERCEROS. La RESPONSABLE garantiza la no transferencia de los datos personales a terceros, salvo su previo y expreso consentimiento. Se exceptúan los casos en que la información es requerida por autoridades judiciales o administrativas competentes, en tal situación La RESPONSABLE se encuentra en la obligación legal de cumplir con los requerimientos de estas autoridades.
V. CONSERVACIÓN DE LA INFORMACIÓN PERSONAL: LA RESPONSABLE mantendrá la información en su base de datos, hasta que legalmente sea procedente, o bien, hasta que el titular así lo requiera y con ello no se contravenga ningún compromiso legal de almacenamiento en razón de obligaciones formales y jurídicas.
